My Uncle and Aunt, and cousins came from BC to visit. They meant it as a surprise but the only one surprised was me. Either I'm not good at listening or I just showed up in Canada to late to find out they where coming, so I was shocked, or at least at the moment it happened I thought I was. It is fun to see all the people who say they are related to me that I don't know.


I am registered for the tournament. it starts Jan 16 and ends Jan 18. We have not been to a court for a while so I am just training at home a little.

Maybe I should change the name of my blog to Furlough Life. hmmm I'll think about it.

freezing cold in Canada

We are in Canada now. it is freezing cold. People are worried about global warming, I'm cold!!!

the other day we found a badminton court. i got to watch the number 1 and 2 Canada players play. that was cool. there is a tournament in January. i hope i can enter.

Kaleb and i are making an igloo. it is going pretty good. i am also carving a cowboy boot toothpick holder. i think it is almost done. then i will carve a bird.

Sabang, The Longest Underground River

On Saturday we went into the underground river. I think it is the longest underground river in the world. we had lots of fun. It was awesome. there were tones of monkeys. one of them stole our cookies and another tried to steel an apple from my Dad.

Last night we played badminton. I got to play singles against Po Johannes. He was my first coach, and is one of the best players here. We also played on Friday night. I got to play with some of the best players in Palawan. I partnered with Po John Jake against Po Oliver and Po Chad. we one twice.

If I do extra school this week I think I can get done with this half year. I have been doing extra.

Colds and Computer Mechanics

I have a cold and have had it for the past 2 days. It does not want to leave. it seems to like me in spite the fact that i hate it. oh well all good things come to end so maybe bad things will to:) oh maybe it thought it would visit with my allergies for a while and they would take turns bothering me (colds and allergies are very polite, always remember that when you feel like kicking one) It looks like we might have a house for when we go back to Canada. My friends are competing today to see who will go to regional. then national. several of my friends went to national already. national are in 2 years.

I am a very qualified computer mechanic!!! you might want me to go through a little more training before i fix your computer but just to touch up my skills!!!:)

Finished My Math Course, Played In a Fun Games and Read a Book

Today i took my last test for pre-algebra. I scored 100%. I now know 100% of the things i am supposed to know. I still have 3 weeks of other school left that i need to finish before we go on furlough. on Tuesday night i went to a fun games. i won in level C men's doubles. In fun games you draw a name out of a "hat" and that name is your partner. well the person that belongs to that name or the person to whom that name belongs to depending on how you look at it. It was lots of fun. the prize was $3. I had to pay a dollar to enter though so really only $2 and free play. or $3 and you pay for your play either way it was fun. I stayed till 11:00, 3 hours past the time i had to go to bed. Fun Games are almost as rare as tournaments but you stay later and pay less.
Oh and the book i read was..... I can't remember what it was but it was interesting all the same.

Kaleb's tire was flat last evening. This morning i fixed it. I also fixed his breaks. Yesterday i was going to lift waits but my coach never texted me a time and never showed up. I think i will ride my bike to Power Zone on Wednesday. Today i have training. Today's training is foot work. like a lot of foot work. 2-4 hours of it.

this is what happens when boys play with things that are most fun.

Bike

On Saturday I got my bike fixed. I don't Know how I did it but i broke my peddles and seat post. I got a new seat post and peddles and peddle arms. a while ago I broke my spokes on my back wheel. I guess I'm a little hard on my bike. I think this afternoon I will ride my bike to Power Zone court with my coach and lift waits. All my friends are off school now. They are training every day for the next 2 weeks. I am not. The Mango trees are in bloom. Not a good thing when you have of allergies and asthma. Last night I took medicine for my allergies. seemed like a good idea till I woke up this morning. well I'm awake, that's the problem. I am out of bed with my eyes open but i am still not awake. or maybe it is just my head, I don't think it got turned on yet. Maybe Air1 will help.... I'll try it.

Another Post... I Guess It Will Be About somthing...... Though I'm Not Sure What.....

AH AH AH AH AH AH!!!! the world is coming to an end!!! oh maybe not, guess it was just my brother telling me to come watch him drive his zip zap.

Yesterday I lifted waits. today I am wondering if i will survive all the pain. It wasn't all that bad I just like exaggerating. Well I'm not sure that i like it, I just do it. I think we are going to go play this evening.( If i don't die of pain).

Tournament and Things

The tournament went good. None of us placed. Super hard play. Earl and I had one win and 1 lose. It was a triple tie so they did points and we lost by 4 points! Dad and Kaleb got to the quarter finals by default then lost. None of their opponents came. Mom also Had a triple tie but in points. they had a decision game to 11 and lost.

Yesterday we had a good Sunday. We listened to a sermon, watched badminton and played Settlers of Catan. I won the game of settlers. In badminton Lee Chang Way lost against Hiddat in championship game.(i don't Know how to spell their names) I don't Know what happened to Lee, he looked very tired mentally. Lee is the number one singles player in the world. Hiddat won the Olympics in 2004 and was world champion the year after. It was a good game but Lee was not himself.
My Dad's leg looks better. not good yet, but a lot better, like a lot. He can now bend his leg witch is good.

Garden
Most every thing exept my black beans and some tomatoes are looking dead. It has been raining rally hard again and plants don't like hard rain.

Badminton
I am going to go lift wates today at maybe 4:00. The tornament is this saterday. There is also going to be another tournament in Nara at the end of the month. This week we are cutting down on our foot work and will mostly play with our partners. My partner will be Earl.I will try to put a picture of him on when i find one. We Got leveled on saturday. we got leveled B. My Dad and Kaleb are going to partner. They got Leveled C. My Mom is also leveled C. This tournament does not have any level E so everybody got leveled up one level. the only problem is the level B players are still in level B. really i'm on the top of level C.

Tournaments, Sore Legs and Trophies

I got the trophy I wanted. i placed champion mixed doubles level C with my Mom and 2nd runner- up men's doubles level C with my Dad. Kaleb was runner up in men's doubles level E. Lots of good players. In championship game mixed i played against one of my friends who i train with every week. score was 21-19, 23-21. The score for men's doubles level C semi finals game was 19-21, 21-18, 10-11. Kaleb's score for championship game was. 17-21, 21-15, 18-21.
after the tournament they gave away shoes. they were really nice. several of my friends got shoes.Here are some pictures of the tournament.
